Active Nematic Turbulence
Computational study of active nematic flows and colloidal dynamics.
Developing computational models to study the collective dynamics of active nematic fluids and their interactions with suspended colloidal particles. The project combines continuum hydrodynamics, particle-based modeling, and numerical simulation to explore driven soft-matter systems far from equilibrium.
The broader goal is to understand how active flows, orientational order, topological defects, and particle interactions shape emergent structures and collective behavior in active materials.
